The objective is simple and ambitious. To help community leaders move from individual insights to collective momentum. To turn small, intentional actions into sustained impact.
Our 2026 gathering will take place in Destin, Florida on April 9-10, 2026. The cohort experience will focus on applying insights, learning from one another, and building practical pathways from data to action.
What will we accomplish?
The Community Compass User Summit is designed as a working convening, not a passive conference. Participants will engage in hands-on learning and peer exchange to strengthen how they listen, learn, and act in their communities. Specifically, participants will:

Jointly explore how artificial intelligence can be applied in philanthropy to more clearly pinpoint community needs, surface emerging issues, deepen donor engagement, and support more consistent grantee tracking and learning

Determine what are the novel insights the data is providing us? How can we be utilizing these insights to drive more impactful grantmaking>

Test and stretch platform capabilities through live demonstrations and facilitated working sessions, helping participants understand what is currently possible and where new applications may add value

Examine real examples of how community data and resident voice are translated into board conversations, strategy shifts, and investment decisions, moving beyond reports to action

Develop individual and shared learning goals that allow foundation leaders to learn from one another more quickly, reduce duplication of effort, and build a trusted peer learning network beyond the summit

Leave with practical ideas, tools, and peer connections that participants can immediately apply within their own foundations and communities

Finally, how can these insights lead to accelerating measurable community impact and increased donor egagement.
